Funny Insults

I was just looking over this old blog entry of mine from about a year ago (which I actually had forgotten I had) and in it I called someone a harpy. A harpy. Granted the insult fits the person very well, but it made me laugh that i had called someone a 'harpy.' Heh, it still makes me laugh.

Weddings

I've only ever been to 2 weddings before, and just this summer I'm going to double that number. Two of my cousins are getting married(no, not to each other, I'm not from West Virginia). The first one in just a few days is in Dallas, Texas. We are driving out there tomorrow. After the wedding we are driving to Houston, Texas to be at my other twin cousins 2nd birthday! Woot! Then we are driving home sometime around the 3rd or 4th. Leaving my sister behind, muahahahahaha! And I'm not kidding either, haha, she is staying in Texas with my grandma and flying home later.

After I get home I've got a few weeks of rest and then it is off to Blacksburg, Virginia for my other cousins wedding. We are bringing our camping trailer and parking it otuside of my aunt/uncle's house. They bought the stuff they needed for an electric hitch. I don't know all the details, but it sounds cool so far. I'd rather stay in the house, but oh well.

This will probably be my last post until the July 5th or so.... Unless I can get on a computer long enough.

So hot outside...

So, I had one exam today, and then I got a pass to walk home. I'm not sure if it was worth it. I got home around 2 hours earlier then I would have, and I didn't have to sit in school for 2 hours, but it's a long walk from my school to my house, and it was hot out today. The heat isn't really so bad, it's the humidity. Then I had to mow the lawn, that took a while and by the time I was finished my shirt looked like I had just dived into a pool.... A rather dirty/grassy pool, but a wet one still!

I'm thinking I might take up running this summer, at least once a week. I told myself this last year, but not during summer, it was more towards the end of winter and the start of spring. I was going to run every Sunday up at Woodbridge Middle School since they have the nearest track. Well, I didn't go even once. I'm not sure if I'll be able to motivate myself. I want to improve my body, both looks and strength. Not necessarily brute strength, but all around. Stamina, endurance, strength, you know, the whole thing. I figure, I've got soccer, that helps a lot. But really, I'm not even fully conditioned for soccer. If I start running to bring up my endurance and stamina, the strength will come on its own. Also, I want to start doing crunches. Get away the flab I've got building where my abs could one day be... That's another thing I tried doing once. At least with that I did something. I never got a schedule down though so I never really got it going good. Hopefully... hehe. One last thing I want to do to improve my self is get a tan. I spend all my time in front of the computer, which just happens to be inside.... away from sunlight. So If it weren't for soccer and mowing the lawn every once in a while I would be as white as the background to this text. Scary isn't it?

Well, I'm done talking. If anyone read all of that, I applaud and thank you. I just needed to get some talking out.... Not a good day and I needed to blabber on and on... and look, here I go again, well... I'm stopping myself now. Peace.

How I spent my summer vacation

So what's everybody planning to do this summer? Who's working? Taking a trip? Summer school?

*appears*

Finally I'm here to update. Between my compy going psycho and finals there's been no time or ability.

What to say...

It's burning hot out today and I spent 1/2 hr on a bicycle. I'm definately going to hate myself in the morning.

BTW Go see Chronicles of Riddick no matter who says what. It's a great action movie, just don't expect anything plot wise.

the height of procrastination

Its 1:30 in the morning-Monday morning- and i'm just starting a paper that was actually due weeks ago. Plus tomorrow (or today, rather) is the last day of the class that aforementioned paper is due in. If anyone can beat that in its patheticness.....I applaud you.

Another poem...

Well, I'm sitting here, bored... It's 4th period and we have nothing to do. I decided to go ahead and go to the media lab where I can at least do something. Figured, hey, why not post another poem? And I couldn't answer... sooo, here it is.

So Far Away
Gently caressing you
Within my arms
I know that you
Are safe from harm
But when you are
So far away
I am up all night
For you I pray
Wondering what
I should do
So I can be
Right next to you
Although you are
So far away
You're close at heart
And there to stay

I hope you all enjoyed it. I'll probably post more randomly as I feel like it. Wootsa. Peace.

As paul pointed out

The changes I made in the side bar (deleting two bios and adding a new one) arn't quite working. The HTML is correct (as far as I can tell) but its not changing.

Besides Regan, I'm talking about the 'authors' Goblin King and Jolly James. I have removed their bio's because they never posted. *Tear* Our numbers dwindle... but alas! New people! I introduce you to JH... *crosses fingers "oh please post!"*

Posting again..

So, uh... Here I am, posting again. Not really sure what to talk about though.

I've been looking around for the June issue of Computer Gaming World. Unfortunately the July issue is now on the shelfs. What kind of crackhead puts the July issue out even before the first week of June is over. It pisses me off, I mean, I go to three different stores looking for this magazine. It probably cost more money to go the the stores(gas) then it would have to buy the magazine.

On other news I've been playing a game called Gunbound. It's okay. Almost like Worms, if any of you have ever played that. Basically, you choose one of 14 selectable mobiles and you go around shooting people on a level. There are 4 different play modes and 4 different types. 1:1, 2:2, 3:3, and 4:4. On these modes: Jewel, Score, Solo, and Tag. You have an avatar who runs the mobile you select before each game. You get money during the game and you can buy different items for your avatar that will increase the stats on your mobile. It's a turn based game, so you don't have to be real fast or have a good computer in order to win. Although you do need certain specs in order to run the game. If you can't understand something it may be due to the fact that it is a Chinese game and the translations aren't perfect. But you should get the main idea.

Well, I've got a project to finish and some sleep to catch up on. Peace out.

Cried

Well, many of you may not know it, but I write poetry. I lvoe to write poetry, get out any thoughts or feelings I've got. This is one of my favorite poems from me.

Cried
No where to run
No where to hide
I've got to get up
And swallow my pride

I've got to hang on
And go for the ride
Nothing but fear
At my side

I must stand up
And change the tide
Even if only
To say I tried

I must erase
Those thoughts of suicide
If only you knew
That I had cried

Then you might
Not have lied
As I watch
You begin to slide

I see what
You had denied
I truly see
That you had died

Years before
Lost inside

Well, that's the poem. I'd appriciate any comments/critiques ya'll would be willing to give. Peace.
